'Hong' (Chinese) = Red
 was really in the mood of drawing some fashion illustrations and this came after watching America's Next Top Model 9 last episode...i was inspired instantly after i came across some of the designs which i would love to do but is lacking of 'funds' hehex  i'm loving this silhouette where it goes from fitted at the top and voom! at the bottom part...i love the idea of attaching layers of different materials, preferably unknown fabrics, hybrid ones i guess other than the usual cotton, satin, chiffon but taffeta is my favourite now haha...well, i won't elaborate much about the design,just a bit cos i drew this inspired by the silhouette and the idea of how this part turned to this and that, came from nowhere so, um, yeah... the red coloured part is free-hand painting expressed in a dreamy mood (gosh, hope u get what i mean ) and the layers are, well, a combination of 'unknown' fabrics to create the volume, it is asymetrical from the side and back...ish fun playing with copic markers when u're in the right mood *whoa*...this is a coloured piece since...a year ++ ago? i never thought of colouring my artworks but the copics are really awesome!!! and burnt me pursie Dxstay tuned to my next illustration! it's gonna be BLUE!  media: Copic Ciao x3 Uni Pin Fine Line 0.2 Photoshop 7.0 ©Design belongs to ME and ME ONLY© Artwork © MEH  blackgothique © 2008 |
