OMG...i can't believe it! i managed to finish this on time so that i can give it to the birthday gal today, which happens to be ME!!! hurray! i'm the birthday gal, i'm the birthday gal...so happy...  the pic is a tribute to my one and only Mr Willy Wonka (i love u so much!) , all thanks to the amazing Johnny and Tim Burton for bringing such colorful world of fantasy into my life which has inspired me in lots of ways... hmm...thought of designing a dark, gothic, twisted Mr Wonka for this pic and i've injected some Trinity Blood style (<< crazy style  ) into it and voila! here is Mr Wonka in gothic style!...i know that the idea isn't original but who cares? i love it to bits hehehh... this drawing is done with markers and pencil colors, and some touch up using Photoshop 6.0...and it took me 3 days to complete the whole thing,of cos, by sitting in front of the laptop and tv the whole time  ...the coloring and detailing part were fun to do, it's just the inking process which nearly killed me! hahaha......i haven't hold a pencil for months so i'm kinda proud of this piece! and this is another artwork before i go 'hibernate' again, haha!.::+ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! +::. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. No, the Gothic Wonka idea has been done over and over, [ and I'm sure I'll get around to doing one myself ], but that shouldn't be a deterrent to create art to please yourself....... and especially because IT IS your Birthday! [ Happy Birthday! ] Thanks for sharing your present with us!
